1. Aging phenomenon
The service life of the carbon molecular sieve in the laboratory liquid nitrogen generator decreases by 5% of its production capacity annually. The oil stains block the adsorption cavity of the carbon molecular sieve, making it unable to adsorb oxygen molecules and leading to reduced output flow. Currently, employers must, according to production needs, timely replace air filters, automatic drain valves, and oil removal activated carbon, primarily replacing the nitrogen generator adsorbent, to restore normal nitrogen generation capacity.
3. Pulverization and ejection of carbon molecular sieve
Different tightening mechanisms of the laboratory liquid nitrogen generator, including existing cylinder tightening, spring tightening, airbag tightening, and tightening cylinders can be monitored in real time, but future additions will damage the pulverizability of the carbon molecules, causing black smoke to appear in the nitrogen generator. In this case, it is necessary to completely replace the carbon molecular sieve in the entire system. If the carbon molecular sieve is added normally at this time, the carbon molecular sieve will continuously eject, and the consequences will become increasingly serious, with carbon molecular sieve powder from the nitrogen generator throughout the nitrogen gas pipeline system.
4. Systemic structural damage

This requires an airtight check of the adsorption tower structure of the nitrogen generator to locate the detachment and replace the new carbon molecular sieve. During the use of the nitrogen generator, due to vibration, equipment movement, etc., structural faults in the adsorption tower, such as detachment of the adsorption tower pipes, outflow of the carbon molecular sieve, and loosening and pulverization of the carbon molecular sieve.
After the nitrogen gas production system stops, it needs to be replaced and installed immediately by an experienced nitrogen generator carbon molecular sieve replacement manufacturer. 1. First, stop the compressed air supply, unload the internal pressure of the nitrogen generation system until all pressure gauges read zero, and turn off the system power;
2. When the nitrogen gas outlet pipe is connected to the top of the adsorption tower, the nitrogen gas outlet pipe must be separated, and then the adsorption tower top cover must be removed one by one;
3. Clean the carbon molecular sieve in the packing tower filled with carbon molecular sieve;
4. Check if the wire mesh and brown bear in the packing tower are damaged;
5. After checking that there are no residues in the packing tower packing, prepare for filling;
6. Lay a brown mat on the floor, then lay 5 cm of activated alumina, and start filling the carbon crystal sieve;
7. Fill the top, vibrate the adsorption tower with a hammer or vibrating tool, confirm that the carbon molecular sieve is firmly filled, and then fill the carbon molecular sieve by at least 5-10 cm to improve the packing cover;
8. After filling, Reset all equipment and parameters.
