Pressure Swing Adsorption Oxygen GeneratorThis is a complete set of equipment for producing nitrogen (or liquid nitrogen) and mixed gases such as argon, neon, helium, krypton, and xenon. Generally speaking, air separation equipment is mostly used for oxygen production.

Pressure swing adsorption vacuum desorption oxygen generator (VPSA oxygen generator for short), that is, under the condition of penetrating atmospheric pressure, using VPSA special molecular sieve to selectively adsorb nitrogen, carbon dioxide, water and other impurities in the air, and desorb the molecular sieve under vacuum conditions, so as to cyclically prepare high-purity oxygen (90~94%). VPSA has low energy consumption, and the larger the equipment, the lower the energy consumption.

The pressure swing adsorption oxygen generator mainly consists of a blower, a vacuum pump, switching valves, an adsorber, and an oxygen balance tank. After removing dust particles from the raw materials through a suction filter, the air is pressurized to 0.3-0.5 bar by a Roots blower and enters one of the adsorbers. The adsorber is filled with adsorbent, in which water, carbon dioxide and a small amount of other gas components are adsorbed by the activated alumina filled at the bottom of the adsorber inlet, and then nitrogen is adsorbed by the zeolite molecular sieve filled above the activated alumina. Oxygen (including argon) is a non-adsorbed component, which is discharged as product gas from the top outlet of the adsorber to the oxygen balance tank.

When the adsorber adsorbs to a certain extent, the adsorbent will reach saturation. At this time, a vacuum pump is used to vacuum through a switching valve (in the opposite direction to adsorption), with a vacuum degree of 0.65-0.75 barg, to extract and discharge the adsorbed water, carbon dioxide, nitrogen and a small amount of other gas components into the atmosphere, and regenerate the adsorbent.

The above three basic process steps are automatically controlled by PLC and switching valve system.

1. Relatively low energy consumption. The greater the oxygen output, the lower the energy consumption.

2. Low maintenance cost. The power equipment is a Roots blower and a Roots vacuum pump, because their working principle is volumetric, oil-free, and easy to maintain.

3. High degree of automation of the whole set of equipment. The power equipment and oxygen generator are synchronously controlled. Just press the start button, and the whole set of equipment can operate normally.

4. Suitable for medium and large output.
